Dayna & Emilio put together a sweet shindig at the French Bay Yacht Club in Titirangi - Auckland. Everything was DIY and it definitely paid off if you ask me - their table decorations were amazeballs. Dayna & Emilio decided to do a first look and then get all the main photos out of the way and so they could spend more time together on their wedding day - a great idea if you ask me. For the bridal party photos we went to Cornwall Park and were stoked to be in the company of New Zealand's favourite animal - SHEEP! We also happened to bump into a pheasant - so cool! If you want to check out some sweet flower crown action, are a fan of cute lil sheep then this is the blog post for you. Also, keep an eye out for Emilio's sweet wedding ring tattoo and try figure out their wedding date by reading his roman numerals date tattoo :D
From the first meeting, Jonathan showed us qualities in a photographer that we didn't even know were important to us. Within the first 5 minutes it felt like we were chatting away with a friend; he immediately put us at ease and made the effort to get to know us and our vision. We really valued his professional advice about photo locations and timings for our day. However it was on our wedding day that we realised the true benefit of having an amazing photographer. He quickly became friends with everyone around him and our friends and family raved about him afterwards! Jonathan has a way with people that cannot be taught or learned. One of our favourite moments was on the dance floor watching Jonathan break dance around his camera!! We also really appreciated that after he took us away for our sunset photoshoot he gave us time alone from everyone at the reception as newly married husband and wife. After the wedding was all said and done he provided us with the most breathtaking photographs. In between all the laughs and banter he gave us on the day he truly captured all the special moments and emotions. His talent and creativity shines through every photograph. Jonathan not only gave us beautiful photographs but a beautiful experience as well. He is a true magician. Thank you Jonathan!
