The Best North Shore Wedding Venue

As a wedding photographer who grew up on Auckland’s North Shore, I was always surprised that there were very few venues this side of the city. If you want a North Shore wedding, there really is only one venue worth considering.

1. The Officers Mess

The Officers Mess, is located at Fort Takapuna and in my opinion, is the best wedding venue on the North Shore. I mean just look at that view of Rangitoto Island! The ceremony spot and its view are iconic. The reception space and building itself is stunning, super minimalist - clean white walls, with hard wood floors and great window light. The space lends itself to being a beautiful canvas to decorate and style to your hearts content. The food is incredible, the team are great, and the location is just perfection.
